This sterling silver Claddagh necklace features a traditional Claddagh design that combines Connemara Marble, marcasite and Sterling silver into distinctive piece of irish jewellery.
Connemara marble is known as “Ireland’s gemstone” and is only found in the heart of Connemara, Ireland.
Marcasite is light crystal with a bright metallic finish that adds a vintage sparkle to the piece.
The Claddagh’s symbols represent love (heart), friendship (hands) and loyalty (crown), and echo the words of the Irish sailor who first crafted it for his sweetheart: “With these hands I give you my heart, and I crown it with my love”.
