Mileeven Pure Irish Honey comes mainly from the sunny Southeast area of Ireland and is made from a mixture of Spring and Summer wildflowers. These flowers are mainly found in woodlands, fields and hedgerows that cover the area, and also some crops like apple blossom, which gives this honey its light golden color and beautiful floral flavor – a real taste of the Irish summer.
100% Irish and 100% raw – we don’t mix it with anything else or any other honey. Each of the beekeepers’ honey is packed separately so there can be a difference in flavor and color throughout the year, depending on what area the hives were in.
Because Irish summers are not always very long or very sunny, Irish honey is quite rare and not often exported so being able to purchase it in the US is a real treat.
